Biography
Wencong “Vincent” Cui is a geospatial researcher and application developer at the FIU GIS Center. His work sits at the intersection of WebGIS, spatial data infrastructure, GeoAI, and agentic AI, with a focus on developing reliable AI-assisted geospatial systems for urban and environmental applications. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University. His recent projects examine agentic AI governance for WebGIS development and street-view-based spatial retrieval-augmented generation for urban analysis.
Vincent frequently works with us on evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs) in geographic contexts.
