Openings & Opportunities

There are currently no funded, open positions available in the GATOR Lab.

However, we are always interested in connecting with passionate researchers. I am open to discussing opportunities with:

  • Current UF Students looking to conduct undergraduate or graduate research.
  • Prospective Students and Postdocs who have secured or are planning to apply for their own funding (e.g., external fellowships, scholarships, or grants).

If you fall into one of these categories and your research interests align with the lab’s core mission and expertise, we welcome your inquiry.

What We Value

Above all, we value intellectual curiosity and a critical mindset. We are looking for researchers who don’t just apply tools, but interrogate them. We are not afraid to ask interesting but difficult questions, and engage with challenging problems. You will thrive here if you are passionate about open science and eager to solve complex spatial problems through a data-science lens.
